In this way, assembler can finish the SMT process in one-time, so that can save much manufacturing time and cost. SMT and THT are almost treated as separated manufacturing processes. Hence, if all the THT components can be replaced by mounted parts, the THT process will be eliminated completely. It is not only decreasing the manufacturing cost, but also reducing delivery time.
